Studio Policy

Late-entry policy
We do not allow late entry to any classes or workshops for safety reasons. To ensure everyone is ready for their practice, please be on your reformer at the start time of class. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before class. If you are late, the door will be closed, and entry will not be permitted to avoid disrupting other students and the instructor. A late or no-show penalty will apply, resulting in the loss of that class credit. If you know you won’t arrive on time, please cancel your reservation in advance.

Class cancellation policy
To allow others the opportunity to attend, we kindly ask that you cancel at least 6 hours before class to free up your spot and return the class credit to your account. Cancellations made within 6 hours of the class will result in forfeiting the credit, along with a $10 late cancellation fee. Failure to cancel will incur a $20 No-Show fee, in addition to losing the class credit.

No-show policy
If you do not cancel your class booking and fail to attend, you will incur a $20 no-show fee. This fee will be applied in addition to the loss of class credit. Please remember to cancel any bookings for classes you are unable to attend.

Return and refund policy
We do NOT offer refunds on any single classes, class packages, memberships, workshops, events, gift cards, merchandise or late-cancel/no-show fees.

Class booking
All classes should be booked in advance online or through the app, as spots are limited in each session. You must be over 18 years of age to book any classes at the studio.

Payment must be made prior to the start of class
All payments with the exception of retail items must be made before class begins.

Arrive early for classes
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start time of class. If you have not checked-in 5 minutes prior to class start time, your spot will be given to a fellow student on the waitlist.

Check-in
Please ensure you check in at the reception or with the teacher before entering the class. Failure to do so may result in a no-show penalty.

Class attendance policy
To maintain a focused environment, please remain in class for the entire duration. If you feel fatigued or unwell, you may lay down on the reformer and inform the instructor if you need assistance. Please note that if you exit the practice room, re-entry will not be permitted.

Noise level
We encourage you to build friendships and enjoy time in the lounge after class. However, we kindly ask that you keep the noise level respectful for the next class in session, in consideration of other students and the instructor.

Grip socks
Wearing grip socks is required for all classes to ensure your safety and sanitation purposes. If you forget yours, you can purchase a pair at the reception desk.

Scent Sensitivity
To ensure a comfortable environment for everyone, please avoid wearing perfume or strong scents, as they may affect those with allergies or sensitivities.

Personal belongings
Ki Movement is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to items, valuables, or personal belongings brought into our studio. Clients do so at their own risk.

Phone policy
To ensure an enjoyable class experience for everyone, please turn off your phone unless you’ve discussed a specific reason for keeping it on with your instructor at the start of class. Instructors reserve the right to ask you to turn off any ringing phone immediately. If you choose to take a call, you will need to exit the studio.

Filiming policy
To respect everyone’s privacy, filming in class is not permitted unless pre-authorized in advance by management. If you are a content creator and would like to film, please email us at hello@kimovementstudio.com to discuss options.

Equipment cleaning
As this is a community space, please reset all equipment to its default setting and clean it with the provided cleaning products after each use. Leave everything as clean as you would like to find it.

Pet policy
No dogs or pets are permitted in the studio at any time. This includes Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) and Therapy Dogs (volunteer dogs). The only animals allowed are registered service animals.

Expiry date
You are responsible for keeping track of the expiration dates of the classes you’ve purchased. We are unable to extend these dates.
